      • Advice on booking a site

Bookings are essential and may be made up to four months in advance. They are not transferable and sites cannot be sublet

Weekend sites at Green Patch and Bristol Point are generally fully booked up to a month in advance during the warmer months from October through to May. Sites at Cave Beach are more readily available, but do require you to leave your car and walk to the campsites located 300 metres from the parking area

The pricing structure is based on the size of the campsite and the number of tents and people that can be accommodated on each site. We have large and standard sized sites, walk-in sites (where vehicles are parked off site) and drive-on sites where vehicles can be parked next to tents

      • When making a booking

Carefully consider dimensions of your tent, tents or van. ‘Kitchen tents’, annexes, awnings and gazebos must be included in your consideration

Consider the number of vehicles you will have on your site (trailers and boats are counted as vehicles)

Provide the registration numbers of all vehicles

Park use fees are included in your camp fee

Make sure you print out your ticket and bring it with you on your visit. You’ll have to display this on your dashboard

      • Payments and refunds

Full payment at the time of booking is required for camping fees. Any cancellation must be made 14 days before your arrival date in order to receive a refund (less $20 administration fee). Please call the Visitor Centre on 02 4443 0977 if you wish to cancel your booking.

      • Checking in and checking out

If you have booked your Green Patch or Bristol Point site online you can proceed straight to your campsite without checking in at the Visitor Centre. But please remember to print out and bring with you your booking confirmation to display on your dashboard

If you have booked at Cave Beach please pick up your Cave Beach tent tag on arrival at the Visitor Centre or the following day if you arrive out of hours and attach the tag to your tent

Campsites must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure and left in a clean and tidy condition

      • Camping etiquette

Booderee campsites are intended for peaceful enjoyment of the natural environment and quiet family time. Loud music, drunken behaviour, offensive language is not acceptable at Booderee

The privacy of Booderee campsites is best protected by avoiding any disturbance of native vegetation in buffer areas between sites. It is your responsibility to keep all your equipment within the confines of your campsite

Open fires are not permitted on campsites - light fires only in fireplaces provided using firewood provided. Gas appliances may be used at your campsite, but note all fire including gas is prohibited on total fire ban days

Please do not feed wildlife as this can result in poor health, aggression and may attract pest species

To protect Booderee's wildlife and plants, animals or pets cannot be brought into the park

Please do not dig trenches. Poles are provided for clothes lines and generators are not permitted as they disturb people and wildlife
