Booderee National Park is a great place to get children of all ages excited about education.
Park entry fees apply for groups and schools. Schools in the Shoalhaven area are exempted from paying park entry fees.

Healthy Learning Program
Booderee National Park’s Healthy Learning Program is a fun educational resource aimed at students from year 5 to year 8.
It covers a range of curriculum subjects including:
- human society and its environment
- science and technology
- personal development
- health and physical education
- visual arts.
A teacher’s guide is also included to provide an overview of the program.
School holiday activities
Every Australian school holidays, Booderee puts on a series of fun activities to entertain kids and adults.

Guided walks for school groups
Schools and other educational groups can go on walks guided by our experienced staff. These walks run on Tuesdays and take place mainly in the park’s botanic gardens.
Our guided walks are very popular and a minimum of two weeks notice is required when booking.
Groups of no more than 30 at one time are preferred. Larger groups can be accommodated over a few days and broken into smaller groups.
