Booderee National Park's Healthy Learning Program is a fun educational resource aimed at students from year five to year eight. It covers a range of school curriculum subjects including Human Society and Its Environment, English, Maths, Science and Technology, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, Drama and Visual Arts. A Teacher's Guide is also included to provide an introduction and overview of the program.
Every Australian school holidays Booderee puts on a series of fun activities to entertain kids and adults. Check out our website prior to the school holidays for the program or phone the park on 02 4442 1006 for more information. The programs are always popular so book in advance to secure your place.
Schools and other educational groups can book walks guided by our experienced staff. These walks are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and take place mainly in the park's Botanic Gardens. These walks are very popular and two weeks notice is required. Groups of no more than 30 at one time are preferred. Larger groups can be accommodated over a few days and broken into smaller group sizes.
