Booderee National Park

Booderee is best explored by car, bicycle or boat. You can easily get a feel for the park in one day, but we recommend not rushing.

Getting around

You don’t need a 4WD to explore the park by car, but take care on Stony Creek Road and Ellmoos Road as they are unsealed.

Please stick to the speed limits, and take care around dawn and dusk to avoid hitting any wildlife.

Boats can be put in at the sheltered Murrays boat ramp. Boating gives easy access to some great little beaches past St Georges Head, as well as some stunning views of the sea cliffs as you pass Cape St George lighthouse.

Feeling energetic? Jump on your bike and pedal around the park!

Not only is this a great way to stay healthy and keep the environment clean, but pushbike riders get free entry into the park.

You also have access to off road trails, but please remain on fire trails and formed roads only.
