When to come

Booderee is beautiful at any time of year. Temperatures range from an average of 9 degrees celsius - 15 degrees celsius in July and 17 degrees celsius - 24 degrees celsius in January.

The summer period is very popular and all our camping areas fill up well before Christmas. Bookings are essential and can be made up to four months in advance. In the southern hemisphere winter, the whale migration is a special experience - whales usually migrate in June and early July. When the whales make their southerly migration in spring they sometimes come very close to shore and play in the sheltered bays with their new-born calves.
