Learn to make flower, leaf and bark dyes and imprints on fabric. Dye a scarf to take home as well as samples of wool, silk and linen dyed in local ACT acacias and eucalypts.
There will also be a short guided walk showing a variety of wattles and eucalypts in the Gardens.
Participants will work with local textile artist Sally Blake, who has done extensive research on plant dyes, including two eucalyptus dye research projects at the Gardens.
