World Storytelling Day – Storytelling on the lawn
Join us for World Storytelling Day at the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
World Storytelling Day is a global celebration of the art of oral storytelling. On World Storytelling Day, as many people as possible tell and listen to stories in as many languages and at as many places as possible in order to share stories and inspiration, and to learn from each other.
Members of the ACT Storytellers Guild will be presenting stories based around the 2023 theme ‘Together We Can’.
Bring a picnic rug and make your way to the Crosbie Morrison Lawn from the carpark (follow the signs).
This is a free event that’s perfect for the whole family.
Please note: All children must have at least one accompanying adult and be supervised at all times.
