Come and see us for information about the Gardens and what to see, or visit the Botanical Bookshop, or the exhibition space within the Visitor Centre.

  • Visitor Information

    A volunteer in the Visitor Centre can provide maps of the Gardens, brochures and advice on places to visit within the Gardens and the location of specific plants.

  • Botanical Bookshop

    A treasure trove of beautiful books, great gifts and souvenirs. The range at the Botanical Bookshop reflects the main themes of the Gardens and specialises in Australian flora and fauna.

  • Plant Identification Service

    A Plant Identification Service is offered by the Gardens - plant specimens can be left at the visitor information desk to be identified by botanists from the Australian National Herbarium.

    Two wheelchairs and two electric scooters are available for use by visitors, free of charge. Bookings are recommended. Bookings can be made in the Visitor Centre or by contacting the ranger between 9.30 - 4.30pm on 6250 9547 to reserve a scooter.

    First Aid is available from the Visitor Information Desk.

    The Theatrette, Dickson Room and public toilets are located in the Administration building foyer, directly opposite the Visitor Centre entrance.
