Australian National Botanic Gardens

The Australian National Botanic Gardens is open and welcomes visitors from 8.30 am to 5 pm every day of the year (except 25 December).

With more than 80 colourful species – including 10 threatened species – this garden highlights the immense variety of the Asteraceae (daisy) family, one of the largest plant families in the world.

Australian daisies can be found from the desert to the alpine country and come in every form from tall trees to tiny annuals.
