For over 50,000 years, Kakadu's Traditional Owners have lived in harmony with this ancient natural landscape.
In April, join us at Kakadu, and experience traditional culture first hand, as you learn about seasonal bush tucker, participate in painting and weaving demonstrations and enjoy walks with a Traditional Owner.

When to come
Find out more about the park during the dry season. This is the most popular time to visit, with most of our visitor sites open. It's wise to book your accommodation in advance, as the hotels get busy at this time of year.
