Kakadu National Park

Craving freshly cooked barramundi? Keen to try crocodile? You’ll find a range of local specialties in Kakadu.

There are modern twists on classic bar meals like burgers and pizzas, salads bursting with fresh flavours, vegetarian options and local treats like buffalo.

Most restaurants happily serve visitors who aren’t staying onsite, so if you’re camping you’ll still find there are plenty of options.

For self-caterers, Jabiru has a supermarket and cafe. There are also smaller selections of things to eat in the service stations at Cooinda and at the Mary River Roadhouse.

While you’re here don’t forget to try some bush tucker with an Aboriginal guide on a cultural tour.
