Savanna woodlands cover over 70% of Kakadu and host a great variety of flora and fauna. These habitats also provide a wealth of food, medicine and tools for local Aboriginal people.

Join park rangers to learn more about the plants, animals and traditional uses of these remarkable habitats.

Easy 2 km return walk.
