Join footy player turned foodie Daniel Motlop for a tasting of this very unusual gin.

Daniel played 130 AFL games for North Melbourne and Port Adelaide between 2001 and 2011. Now retired from football, he is the owner of Something Wild Beverages, the South Australian company behind a unique new gin infused with wild green ants.

Traditionally favoured by Indigenous societies for their medicinal benefits and protein content, green ants display vibrant flavours of lime and coriander. The ants used for this gin are hand-harvested in the Northern Territory by the Motlop family of the Larrakia people.

Daniel will be hosting a tasting of green ant gin cocktails as well as sharing his story of football and food businesses.

Your ticket for this tasting includes four sample cocktails and a range of delicious canapés.
