Kakadu National Park

Festival opening night

5–9 pm, 10 May 2019 — Bowali Visitor Centre

This was an event at Taste of Kakadu 2019, which has now finished.

We're busy pulling together an even more exciting program for Taste 2020. Join our mailing list below to find out about events, special offers and early release tickets before anyone else does.

Kick off Taste of Kakadu at Bowali with the park’s traditional owners.

We’ll be getting the festival started with a welcome to country, campfire, outdoor art displays, traditional dancing, live music from Kakadu’s own Jabirumours and plenty of delicious things to eat.

Grab a feed of traditional bush tucker and sample the wares of our Festival Hub food vendors. Drinks will be available to purchase from the bar.

After the opening, you can head back to town to kick on with Kakadu-inspired cocktails at the Croc.
