Kakadu National Park

This was an event at Taste 2018, which has now finished.

We're busy pulling together an even more exciting program for Taste 2019. Join our mailing list below to find out about events, special offers and early release tickets before anyone else does.

Home to some of the world’s best rock art, Ubirr is a place where creation stories and law have been passed down through thousands of generations.

This event will take you inside the awe-inspiring main gallery to enjoy an authentic yam cook-up beneath Ubirr’s World Heritage-listed rock paintings. Led by traditional owner Connie Nayyingul, the morning promises to be as enlightening as it is delicious.

You’ll then head up to the top of Ubirr to hear more stories and a fascinating talk about Aboriginal spears.
