Areas of Booderee re-open after severe weather
Visitors are advised that Booderee National Park will re-open the remaining areas that were closed due to severe weather earlier this week.
Risk assessments have been finalised for Cave Beach, Booderee Botanic Gardens and Ellmoos Road, and all have been assessed as safe. These areas will re-open to visitors from 8am on Saturday 1 August 2020.
We would like to welcome visitors back to these parts of the national park. Please note that some areas of Booderee National Park remain closed to COVID-19.

- Green Patch
- Iluka
- Murrays Beach and boat ramp
- Bristol Point
- Ellmoos Road
Close due to COVIDsafe measures
- Camping Areas
- Stoney Creek Road (this includes Cape St George Lighthouse, Moe’s Rock, Stoney Creek and Steamers Beach access).
- Booderee Visitors Centre (but the car park is open for Wi-Fi access if required for park information and Visitor Centre staff will be available by phone and email).
- Summercloud Bay (this includes the boat ramp, beach and surf access in Summercloud Bay).
