Bowali Visitor Centre – Operating Hours over the Christmas and New Year period

Planning a visit to Kakadu over the festive season? Please note that the Bowali Visitor Centre will be closed on Christmas Day (25 December 2025) and New Year’s Day (1 January 2026).

At all other times during the Christmas and New Year period, the Visitor Centre will continue to welcome visitors daily between 8 am – 5 pm.

As we head into a new year, we’ve updated our operating hours to better reflect seasonal conditions and visitor needs.

New opening hours:

• Open daily (except Christmas Day & New Year’s Day)
• Dry season (April–October): 9 am – 5 pm
• Wet season (November–March): 10 am – 4 pm
