Cave Beach Road and Botanic Gardens closed until 21 March 2025
Booderee National Park is getting a facelift with a range of roadworks and amenity upgrades happening over coming months.
While the park's natural beauty remains unchanged, you might notice some construction activity as we work to make your visit even better.
Cave Beach Road and the Botanic Gardens are now closed and expected to reopen COB Friday 21 March 2025. This closure is allowing significant roadworks to be carried out, to improve visitor safety and access within the park.
Scope of work
The scheduled works are critical for enhancing the safety and usability of park roads and include comprehensive pavement remediation, re-sealing and updating road markings.
Affected areas
The closure restricts access to:
- Cave Beach
- Cave Beach Campground
- Cave Beach Lookout
- Botanic Gardens
Visitor information
During this period, there will be no access to the affected areas. Visitors planning trips to these locations are advised to reschedule their visits.
