Pulu Keeling National Park

Pulu Keeling National Park is not easy to visit. Its remote location, rough seas and fringing reef makes getting ashore very difficult.

Researchers visiting North Keeling Island must be accompanied by park staff. There are no tours for the general public.

Permits are required for any research, commercial or recreational marine activities within the park.

Please contact park staff if you are planning to visit Pulu Keeling National Park.

Visiting the Cocos (Keeling) Islands

The southern atoll of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands is much easier to access.

Virgin Australia operates twice-weekly flights to the islands from Perth and there are a number of places to stay.

Tour operators on the islands offer numerous activities based around birdwatching, scuba diving, fishing, turtle watching, photography, culture and more.

Check out www.cocoskeelingislands.com.au for more information on visiting this wonderful place.
