Christmas Island National Park

This gleaming white beach on the island’s north coast features tall forests and a spectacular offshore reef.

The walk to West White Beach is not an easy one. After a moderately difficult trek through beautiful rainforest, walkers use a rope to descend down a short, steep cliff to the beach. Make sure you wear sturdy walking shoes and carry plenty of water.

But the effort is well worth it. West White Beach has splendid views, so bring your lunch and stay a while.
