Christmas Island COVID-19 – Update
What travel advice is in place for Christmas Island?
The Administrator of Christmas Island and the Cocos Keeling Islands has mandated that ALL travellers to Christmas Island and the Cocos Keeling Islands must have spent at least 14 days in a “very low risk” jurisdiction, and must also be FULLY VACCINATED against Covid-19.
Visitors from “very low risk states” of Australia (defined as those with no community cases in 28 days) can travel from these jurisdictions, via Western Australia, to Christmas Island and the Cocos Keeling Islands without quarantine or isolation restrictions.

It is important to note that the Indian Ocean Territories of Christmas Island and the Cocos Keeling Islands remain in a State of Emergency and ALL travellers to the IOTs are required to apply for travel to each island.
Travellers visiting both Christmas Island and the Cocos Keeling Island must submit two Traveller Request Forms:
ALL travellers are also required to apply for a G2G pass for entry into Western Australia.
