Booderee National Park

Thursday 11 July 2024

With its lush rainforests, pristine beaches and historic relics, Booderee National Park attracts thousands of visitors year-round.

Over recent years, visitor numbers have significantly increased and Parks Australia staff have been working tirelessly to keep campground areas, gardens and facilities in good shape. To support these valuable efforts and keep our park beautiful, a new fee structure will come into effect for park passes and camping bookings.

From 1 August 2024, visitors will be able to choose from one of four park pass options:

  • one day vehicle pass ($20)
  • one day vehicle concession pass ($10)
  • one year vehicle pass ($80)
  • two year vehicle pass ($110).

Camping fees have also been streamlined with visitors charged one site fee for their camping booking. The additional per person tariff has been removed.

Revenue from park entry and camping fees is reinvested into the park’s visitor services and ongoing maintenance. This helps us to maintain and improve carparks, beach access, boat ramps, walking trails, scenic lookouts, roads, information signs, campgrounds and visitor safety; making sure our visitors have an enjoyable time at Booderee.
