Murrays Beach and Murrays Boat Ramp will remain open and accessible to visitors during planned upgrades to Murrays Beach carpark.

The upgrades to Murrays Beach carpark will help it withstand severe rain events. Works will commence on Monday, 12 September 2022, and are expected to take about three weeks – weather permitting.

The area will be busy during construction, and signage and fencing will be in place to direct visitors to any temporary alternate beach access or parking during the upgrades.

There are many beautiful beaches nearby which continue to be accessible during this time such as Green Patch, Scottish Rocks, Hole in the Wall, Bristol Point and Iluka.
