Due to deteriorating road conditions and forecasts of high rainfall over the weekend, Stony Creek Road has temporarily closed for safety reasons from Friday 1 July 2022.

Stony Creek Road will also be closed next week for scheduled roadwork. Completion of that roadwork is expected by 8 July 2022.

Due to this severe weather, the Booderee Botanic Gardens has also temporarily closed. Once the weather eases, we will assess the extent of the damage and the clean up required, but at this stage we expect that the gardens will remain closed until at least Wednesday 6 July 2022.

We will provide an update when these areas re-open.

If you are visiting the park we encourage you to stay safe by obeying all signage and following the directions of Booderee National Park staff during this period of severe weather.
