Above/Below is a group exhibition by artists who are inspired by their love of cryptogams - ferns, fungi, lichens, liverworts, moss, hornworts, and algae.
Garden Promenade

Featuring textile works by Sharon Peoples, Garden Promenade speculates on what could have been if Sarah Sophia Banks had travelled to Australia instead of only her brother, Sir Joseph Banks.
Photography exhibition

Come and admire the prize-winners of this year’s school photographic competition. All of the photos were taken within our beautiful Australian National Botanic Gardens.
Storytime

Stories, songs, rhymes and creative activities are brought to life in the Gardens' beautiful natural surroundings.
Join artist Tom Buckland on a magical journey into the past where giant creatures roamed the earth! In this exciting workshop, children can let their imaginations run wild as they become palaeontologists and artists. They will sculpt their own ancient megafauna using natural materials like native leaves, seeds, sticks and clay.
Get ready to unearth creativity and explore the wonders of prehistoric life right before your eyes!
