The Gardens offer a picturesque and central location in Canberra for your next meeting.
Whether it’s a small meeting, a large workshop, a lecture or a planning day, we have a room to suit your needs.
Our venues include free wi-fi, audio-visual equipment and electronic whiteboards. Additional equipment is available upon request.

Crosbie Morrison Building
With views across a lush green lawn and tranquil ponds surrounded by she-oaks, the Crosbie Morrison Building is an easy walk from the carpark and is close to Pollen cafe.
The hire space includes a spacious room, break-out/catering room and a small kitchenette. It is perfect for:
- training
- planning days
- workshops
- meetings
- private functions.
Available seating configurations are:
- U-shape – up to 10 attendees
- Cabaret – up to 32 attendees
- Boardroom – up to 16 attendees
- Cafe or workshop – up to 48 attendees

Standing – up to 100 attendees
Dickson Room
The delightfully intimate Dickson Room is just right for small training groups and meetings.
The room has a small kitchen and offers easy access to toilets and the cafe. The private outdoor courtyard is ideal for mingling and cocktails.
The Dickson Room has:
- audio-visual equipment
- an electronic whiteboard
- excellent natural light
- a lovely private courtyard.
Available seating configurations are:

boardroom – up to 16 attendees
Theatrette
Ideal for lectures, film screenings and presentations, the theatre offers audio-visual equipment, lighting facilities and tiered seating for up to 90 people.
This venue has easy access to toilets and the cafe.
The theatrette seats 90.
Banksia Building (Weekends Only)
Nestled in the Banksia Garden, the Banksia Buildings’ two rooms are perfect for workshops, meetings, and small gatherings. Hire space includes toilets and access to a small kitchenette with microwave, fridge, and hot water tap.

Your team can’t work on an empty stomach. Our award-winning Pollen cafe and restaurant offers a variety of modern, delicious and healthy food and drinks.
Pollen can cater for:

- afternoon tea.
