Australian National Botanic Gardens

The Australian National Botanic Gardens is open and welcomes visitors from 8.30 am to 5 pm every day of the year (except 25 December).

Experience the cool coastal Rainforest Gully from the elevated boardwalk. Pass through ancient conifers and walk among eucalypts.

Spot a water dragon at the waterfall and admire majestic Gymea Lilies and Grass Trees along the 1.4 km Main Path Walk.

Short detours take you through the dramatic scenery of the arid Red Centre Garden and Rock Garden, broadening the diversity of Australian plants you experience.

The Main Path is paved and all slopes meet Australian standards for wheelchair access.
