Storytime

Stories, songs, rhymes and creative activities are brought to life in the Gardens' beautiful natural surroundings.

Join Irene Lorbergs from Canberra School of Photography for an  exclusive three hour guided night photography workshop in the Gardens. Learn how to ‘paint with light’ during sunset, dusk and the black of night.

Delve into the misty rainforest, explore the amazing diversity of plants and perhaps capture some of the creatures that call this place home at night. 

Suitable for beginners to advanced photographers aged 15 years.

Bookings

Bookings are essential as places are limited and bookings close two days prior to event.

18 January, 8.00 pm–11.00 pm (gates open at 7.45 pm)

15 February, 7.30 pm–10.30 pm (gates open at 7.15 pm)

Things to note

• Please bring your own digital camera and tripod. An extra memory card, battery and small torch are recommended.
• Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking. The workshop will include walking up and down stairs.
• Event will proceed in light rain and ponchos are provided if needed.
• Gates open at 6.45 pm. Please do not arrive any earlier as you will not be able to access the Gardens or carpark.

Should the tour be cancelled for safety reasons, a notice will be posted on this ticketing page, you will be emailed, and a text message will be sent to your mobile. In the event of cancellation you will be given the choice of a refund or rescheduling.
