Kakadu Billabong Safari Camp is a 100% Aboriginal owned and operated family business, on Murumburr Clan Country.

Our homelands are situated in the heart of Kakadu National Park, on the edge of the Jim Jim River system.

Your group is invited to join our Murumburr family on a range of privately guided Kakadu tours, community Cultural workshops and overnight experiences, all designed to immerse your senses in our ancient living Culture and outstanding natural environment.

Tours

Journey through time – Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) Rock Art Tour

When: available year round.

Where: meet at the Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) car park shelter.

Group size: maximum 20 people.

Kakadu Community Cultural Workshop

When: May to September, 9 am to 12 pm.

Where: meet at the Murdudjurl Community approximately 15 km from Cooinda along the Jim Jim Billabong turn-off (follow our signs).

Group size: maximum 30 people.

Kakadu Billabong Safari Camp overnight experience

When: daily departures June to September

Where: Cooinda at 2.30 pm, return the following day around 10 am.

Group size: maximum 20 people.

Taste of Kakadu at the Murdudjurl Community

When: 24 to 26 May 2024, 9 am to 12 pm.

Where: meet at the Murdudjurl Community approximately 15 km from Cooinda along the Jim Jim Billabong turn-off (follow our signs).

Group size: maximum 150 people.

Mayali Mulil Festival

A 2-day on Country festival at the Murdudjurl Community including Welcome to Country, traditional Corroboree, art exhibition, musical performances, Cultural workshops and activities, bushtucker cooking, camping and more!

When: 6-8 September 2024
