Important COVID-19 update – Visitor restrictions

COVID-19 safety measures remain in place at Kakadu National Park. The Northern Territory Government has implemented a number of health directions to keep the community safe.

NT Health also encourages visitors to the NT to protect themselves against mosquitoes due to the presence of Japanese encephalitis.

Unwind after an adventurous day with a visit to Escarpment Restaurant and Bar in the famous Mercure Crocodile Hotel.

Escarpment offers special dishes providing the tastes and flavours of Kakadu, with tasting plates featuring ‘bush tucker’, including crocodile, buffalo and kangaroo.

A wide range of international dishes are also available, along with full buffet breakfasts, light lunches and an extensive wine and bar menu.

Dining is offered in air-conditioned comfort, or sit outside to enjoy a drink during balmy evenings.
