Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) Rock Art Tour
Journey back in time and discover some of the world’s oldest and most impressive rock art.
Take a guided walk through shaded rock shelters to popular World Heritage rock art sites with a Kakadu ranger. Be dazzled as you stroll past stunning cliffs of the Arnhem Land escarpment and admire the sheer vastness of the native flora and fauna. Learn of thousands year old stories of the region including Namarrkon, the Lightning Man, who is a powerful creation ancestor.
This 1.5 km circuit walk takes you on a visual journey through time to an outdoor cultural museum where painting, shelters and artefacts present traditional ways of life from numerous epochs.

Grade: Easy to moderate
Accessibility: The area around the main gallery site is flat and accessible to wheelchairs.
