Men's ankole (spear) making workshop

Learn to make spears the traditional way at a hands-on workshop with carver and painter Dale Austin.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to straighten/strengthen and attach one of two hunting style tips, Djarlagadj for fish and Lama for big animals. Workshop participants get to take the finished product home with them. All equipment, tools and safety wear are supplied.

Please note

For cultural reasons, the spear-making workshop is for male participants only, all ages.
