Indian Ocean Territories Marine Parks – activity approvals and determinations

The following general approvals have been issued in line with the transitional management arrangements for activities in Indian Ocean Territories Marine Parks:

• General approval – Christmas Island Marine Park yellow zone
• General approval – Christmas Island Marine Park green zone
• General approval – Cocos (Keeling) Islands Marine Park yellow zone
• General approval – Cocos (Keeling) Islands Marine Park green zone (offshore)
• General approval – Cocos (Keeling) Islands Marine Park green zones (The Rip and Trannies Beach)

The following determinations have been issued in line with the transitional management arrangements for activities in Indian Ocean Territories Marine Parks:

•  Determination prohibiting fishing in offshore green zones – Christmas Island Marine Park and Cocos (Keeling) Islands Marine Park
• Waste disposal determination – Christmas Island Marine Park and Cocos (Keeling) Islands Marine Park
