Ashmore Reef Marine Park serves as a critical nesting and stopover site in the Indian Ocean, 630 kilometres north of Broome.

It has been designated a Sanctuary Zone to minimise disturbance to the pristine environment, but invasive fire ants and weeds have made it to these three tiny islands. Help us restore island ecosystems at Ashmore Reef.
