This report is the result of collaborative efforts between commercial and recreational fishers in the Gulf of Carpentaria, fisheries management agencies and CSIRO to provide important biological information on the Talang queenfish, a species becoming an increasingly important target species for both commercial and recreational fishers in the Northern Planning Area.
