Electronic and Vessel Monitoring Systems Assistance Program Grants

• The Australian Government is offering state and Northern Territory fisheries management agencies one-off grants to boost the use of electronic and vessel monitoring systems on commercial fishing vessels transiting or operating in Australian Marine Parks.

• Up to $5.5 million is being offered to assist the commercial fishing industry’s uptake of electronic and vessel monitoring technology and enhance sustainable marine management.

• The Program is being administered through the Community Grants Hub with applications opening today and closing 9.00 pm, 16 November 2021.

These grants are the final component of the broader Fisheries Assistance and User Engagement Package.
